That's agood point yes. The biggest thing I find wrong with dancehall is not sex (you can discuss if it has a place on a stage, but that's personal opinion) or violence but the clear materialistic, kapitalistic ideal they portrai to youths who will never be able to afford this bling (or they have to get it by force = violence, or selling their own body = sex). Talking about a vicious circle...

Jollygyall,
That slogan has nothing to do with this forum. It has a bigger meaning to me. It's a slogan often used in the area where i was born. It's used against the multinationals stealing our natural resources leaving locals empty handed...
So please stay on the topic and leave my slogan alone....

Okay, now I understand what you mean by this slogan. But you have to know that other people can think that you mean you want to have a war in general and not only against the oppressors of your people...Thats where my confusion came from. Still...respect, but it would be nicer to see some positive vibes in this topic, no?

Mr. whot are you also a battyman from outrage? No. Why you get so jumpy? That sign is a faggot sign. Is it ? You sure you're not getting paranoid ? CHECK your information brother. I was talking bout dancehall music in general, not about battyman issue.

For me that logo or sign only says: "No Guntalk", it say nuttn bout homo's... or maybe the little figure in the circle holds his mike too close to his ass ;D, (that's just kiddin) No I didn't make that relation to batties nor outrage or other farths Just: "No guntalk" Selam enna fikre (peace and love) Feel PS: I personally thought that your slogan was a George Bush quote (so I keep my distance ) personally I never see war bring peace, maybe try "total eradication"? Some thing like: "Only total eradication might bring peace (to this our mother Earth)" ;D His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile selassie I once said: "true civilisation begins where problems can be solved by persuation of words, not by power of force" relatively irie greetz, ras Feel

@ Ras Feel & The others:
I think the comment was directed more at the s.o.s. Jamaica website mentioned at the bottom of the sticker/logo, which if I'm following houstony3k is the work of the pro-gay movement in Jamaica.
However inquisitive as I am (and probably as one of the few) I went and had a look at the website. It starts of with a jingle by Warrior King. Not a bad reference I would say. Furthermore the website does not focus solely on the gay issue but on all violence in Jamaica. This being the case I for my part don't care who the creators of this site are, the goal is justified.

Rebel,
Why do you say this website is the work of the pro-gay movement in Jamaica ? I don't know who made it, but i don't see any pro-gay stuff on the site. I understand "pro" as in "promotion". If that would be the case, it's a pity IMHO... . I think its about violence in Jamaica in general.

I'm not claiming anything. I was trying to clarify wat houstony2k was saying. As for me it does not seem unlikely they are behind this initiative, but as I said in the message above, I don't care who the messenger is as long as I agree with the message.
