In france , ppl use to say that those two sound are the two most loaded dubbox a France right now .... hmmm , ok suppose it s right , lol , this one will be one the biggest sound clash in France after the heartical / soul stereo we had like two or three years ago !!!

i just hope that the Guiding Star mc is training on his patois cause last time i saw them, Jacob took the mic and he didn't impress me, no vibes at all. and i think we all agree that its not just dubs that win the clash,

Yes Smocky, good point. In my opinion, unless you are a native (or really well-trained) Patois emcee, chances are high you end up proclaiming the standard slogans or just messing things up in a real clash argument. On the other hand, Patois is the real tongue of reggae music, and it can be enjoyable to hear the Italians/Germans/French/Japanese... (try to) make their point in that language as well. I think that in the end a lot depends on the selfconsciousness of the emcee: is he ready and takes the stage with a confident attitude, then all will go fine. And when they just go apeshit and freak out because they think their next dub is absolutely ubercool, they'll just scream in the mic anyway so the language doesn't really matter. |
