Talking about dirty games! Vzw RED ALERT (and we just nuh call ourself so we are) and Canard Bizar booked Bass Odyssey in March of this year through the official promotor for Europe (Gideon Promotions). In our contract was included (wich is only normale for a small place as Belgium) that the sound was not gonna perform in Belgium one month before and one month afther the date for Gent. As soon as the word spread that Bass Odyssey was invited by us, Danger used his"connections". He contacted the local promotor for Germany. This person had to book as many shows in Germany as possible, He didn't reach his target so when he got a call out of Belgium (not knowing of our booking) he was glad to book one more show. This promotor was only allowed to book for Germany. When we noticed the "poster" (it was a quick job) for Antwerp we contacted Gideon Pr and told him about the problem. There was never no discusion are change of fee. The reaction from Gideon was:" this can't be ,two shows so close to each other, the one in Antwerp is cancelled". This we know for about one month now. This is the reason why we didn't care about what was going on in Antwerp, we were sure about our show. We only deal with the truth, we know that only time will tell, and who Jah bless no man curse.
VZW RED ALERT and CANARD BIZAR always keep there promises and this time we even gonna give you a little brawta, with one more sound (surprize) out of England.
So, Antwerp , Gent , Brussels , West Vlaanderen, the whole a Belgium we hope to see you in Gent, and we promise you a great night of burning BADMIND.

 All we know now is the show in Antwerp was not allowed to go on. Belgiumaica nah big enuff????Yuh nah fool us!

Eerst en vooral: Wa is het dibi dibi lijstje? ;D Ten tweede: ik vind het heel jammer dat er zo een clausules opgenomen worden in die contracten. Ipv dan gewoon de kosten te delen enzo. Het volk dat in Antwerpen zou gaan zien (maar da nu dus niet meer kan, met dank aan....) heeft niet altijd de mogelijkheid/goesting om naar Gent te gaan voor een feestje, en omgekeerd. De reggaescene is al zo klein, als promotors/organisators elkaar dan nog wa gaan tegenwerken is het helemaal compleet. Nogmaals, Bass Odyssey naar Antwerpen laten komen zou volgens mij niet inhouden dat er minder volk in Gent aanwezig gaat zijn. Dat in het achterhoofd houdende zie ik echt geen enkele goede reden om die dus alleen naar Gent te laten komen, tenzij de 'prestige' om ze exclusief voor da feestje naar Belgie te laten komen  |

I just cant believe people are buying danger's shit... double fee???where you think that money would come from?
Danger just felt like overpowering vzw red alert like "wha? if you guys can do it, we can do it too'" I think he just felt sorry that he didn' t come up with the idea or got the proposal first to bring bass odyssey...
It's not about not wanting other people to bring them, its just the way how!!! everything happened behind the back of vzw red alert! that was a nasty game to play and off course vzw red alert didn't want to leave it like that! put yourself in their shoes come on!if the show would have been after ours it would already be a different thing and still!another thing...who you think was paying for all the travel expenses for bass odyssey? not danger dem, they could just profit of that!
The thing that annoyed me the most was that danger dem now are playing the innocent victim role "sorry people but...."
People, just believe what you want to believe but remember we never asked for this!
We just continue what we started and we're sure we gonna a have a great evening.

Neap alert did not bring bass odyssey from Jamaica to Europa bass odyssey woes an tour in Europa Thea just get one date just like Original red alert I think some people are just Jealous that bass odyssey woes going to be in Antwerp all so Thea fecal treating that why Thea pay more to stop the party in Antwerp

This is for your information, Nep Alert : I did not use my connections, they contacted me with their proposition!
And to you Muriel : it is not Danger's shit, it is like somebody already said before : it is Pres shit!
And yes girl, we also had to pay for hotel, travelcosts,etc...
The reason why we put this on the forum is because we wanted the people to know the real truth why the show in Antwerp is cancelled.
We, the original Red Alert, don't play behind people their back. If we already knew a month ago that our show was cancelled, we wouldn't bother put up any posters, would we???
Listen to yourself : "if the show would have been after ours it would be already be a different thing..."
This way of thinking proves again what we knew longtime ago already : time for you guys to grow up and to enter the world of maturity!!!!

Is het waar dat Freddy Kruger komt vervangen voor bass odessy? Freddy Kreuger werd voorgesteld als alternatief, maar ik denk niet dat het een waardige vervanger zou zijn voor Bass Odyssey. Dan liever de show cancelen en 400 Euro verliezen aan die hele affaire (posters en flyers).  |
