Dubheads, Reasoning about jah and dub is not a bad idea in this time. Dancehall rules. nuff respect fi all sounds, them are growing strong and plenty. 10 years ago things were not as cool as inna the dancehall nowdays. youths are open fi the music. Dub is more underground and is not known to many. So it's about time we let them know. jah shaka is at the foundation in the uk bringing his own (mega) speacker stacks. huge walls with big scoops! as well as the sound system itself. Inna Holland King Shiloh is doing this as well In Belgium it has started and will grow fi sure. see abassi all stars soon! Check the university of dub in Brixton 24 nov. abashanti - king shiloh - iration steppas each on there own system and own speacker sets. switching about every 40minutes Oftenthey run tunes with a single deck toasting, sound effect and dubbbs from pre amps make it flow without mixing plates 7" are put on top of each other fi a quick switch often dub, version or fi dancehall posse riddims are played fi the mc to do him thing. traditions of reggae It's a different thing than the dancehall juggling but reggae is about one love fi the music and the people so. Unity and strenght fi all blessed love from jah central

I rate UK Dub big time, all dub as a matter of fact. King Tubby, Scientist, Lee Perry ... are truely kings. UKwise there is a whole heap of producers (BushChemist, Disciples, Vibronics...) who are at it long time scoring big all over Europe.
In general uk dub appeals to a different audience. But do feel that the gap is closing. You hear some UK Dub tunes in a regular reggae dance once in a while and Giraffe Records has plenty in store, meaning he does move them to alot of people.
Setting up sounds ain't easy, cause of the space and venue they require. So respect to the man dem who put it up.
