A thank you and farewell party for each and every one!
Selectors for the Occasion the Dub Vendor All-Stars – Papa Face, Redman, Supa Selecta C, Oxman, Warrior Lol, Robert Allen, Gaffa Blue and plenty more special guests in da house!
Dub Vendor’s West London branch at 150 Ladbroke Grove will be closing it's doors for the last time on 21st June 2008.
After 28 years in the area the shop has enjoyed landmark status both at its original; location at the side of Ladbroke Grove station and at its current site. Over the years numerous luminaries of the reggae and wider music business have frequented the Dub Vendor Shack and the iconic mural on the side of the shop has been the backdrop for countless photo shoots and several films and videos.
Dub Vendor wishes to thank all those who have supported the shop over the years and will be holding this farewell dance at 12 Acklam Music will be supplied by the Dub Vendor Allstar team of deejays and will be hosted by Redman and Papa Face who have been the shop managers from the start. They will be joined on the night by guest recording artists from Jamaica and the UK.
Dub Vendor continues in South London at our Clapham Junction shops and worldwide via our website and mail order service at www.dubvendor.co.uk
