Bimma from Soundquake just posted a statement on the german board (link hieronder) that this was the last clash they played. Main reasons he gives is excessive biasness (booing before the 1st tune has been played, pre-made anti-soundquake signposts in the crowd) plus the throwing of objects on the stage which is something he'd rather live without.
But he also points out that spending way more money on custommade dubs than the fee a sound gets for the clash is a trend they don't want to get involved in, yet it seems like this is nowaday's way to fame for upcoming sounds.
http://www.dancehallmusic.de/forum2/thread.php?threadid=25226

haha kijk hoe duidelijk:

vs.

... werkt blijkbaar nie ... check foto's 61 en 62

memorable momenten en dubs:
- ken parker
- combination story
- jerusalem riddim (mmm heerlijk)
- herb-a-lize it: speech maken tegen movade, tune erna: jawel, movado ;D ::)
- marley custom combo
- ward 21/timbale custom combo
- irie crew speech: "play an artist NOBODY can play" -> Johnny Osbourne ;D
- luciano on the rock counteraction
- irie crew op lecturer, sweet 8-)
- héééérlijke JC Lodge van herbalize in dfd
-

2006:
2007:
- Bus naar clash met Civalizee in Ieper
- Bus naar clash met Civalizee in Dusseldorf
- Bus naar War inna East Enschede (Soundquake vs Supersonic)
- Bus naar u-club Wuppertal
- Bus vanuit Brussel naar iets in Duitsland (heartbeat?)??
2008:

It's a unity thing...

We clashfans and party-animals and love to move in crowds!

- Boombastic vs Back to Bass vs spots road show (NL) vs Survival High Power (NL), laten we stellen; gewonnen door B2B, hoewel bb het verdiende (little bit too much antwerp massive in the place....)

FROM DHR

yaaaw
I SEE NUFF CONTROVERSY GWAN SINCE WE WIN RIDDIMCLASH. AND IN MY BOOK THATS A GOOD THING.
EVERY BIG SOUND NEED SOME CONTROVERSE TO MAKE PEOPLE TALK BOUT YOU AND REMEMBER YOU.
WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SPREAD OUR NAME AROUND THE GLOBE IN A FAST WAY. AND WE HERE TO STAY !

BUDA

TO CLEAR UP SOME THINGS THIS IS A POST I MADE ON THE GERMAN BOARD. BOUT SOUNDQUAKE STEPPING OUTA CLASHBISS, BUSSES, CUSTUMS ETC...

this is Buda from Civalizee,
My German is not so good and i cant read all of this above but want to give a few statements from my point of view too.

First of all i must say i agree with Bimma when he talks about those "fuck soundquake " signs in the clash, booing and trowing object to him.
Its realy demotivating for quake to come to a next clash if this becoming a standard. I dont know why quake have this amount of hate coming at them but they dont deserve this. This people are one of the sounds that inspired nuff sounds, including me !

About dubplates only going about pussysucking etc... Maybe this is a true statement. If i listen the clash nuff tunes go bout this...There must be a more creative way to write lyrics. But you motherfuckers always forward this kinda shit so hard, while the majority of you love to suck it ... :-) haha

About the customs : When serani seh in the intro "are you ready germany" this is not a custom in my book.
When Berres seh in the intro : 5 sound gonna die tonite, this is not a custom.
I recycle also some call up dubs from my first clash with herbalize it in 2004 (Merciless, Legalize it) and those dubs still work so it would stupid not to play it, dont ? (since dubs are so expensive)
Civalizee was on tour with Pressure in Europe for those who dont know and he gave us nuff tune, custom & regular so i would be stupid not to play it rite ?
The other call up dubs i played i can juggle dem regular too and make the artist puch in a line or 2 for the clash. This is how soundclash is nowadays. Hate it or love it.
The real amount of custom i play was 10 ( 8 calling up sounds and 2 mention Riddimclash). NOT 20 or 30 like i read. However i appriciate some people are making my bills and their concern about it. ;-)
I find it weird too no one mention all the other sounds involved played a high amount of call up names dubs , and some of dem were really wiked !!

If you dont prepare well for a clash you get a bag shit over you if you do you buyed up the clash ....

so i guess some people just want to believe what they want to believe. I wonder if these experts have a dub fi dub or soundclash diploma/ degree ?

About the Belgium busses then : Civalizee did not organize any bus to the riddimclash. The Belgium massive did yes. But this is not the first time there are busses from Beljam to the riddimclash. (Or other events and festivals) Since some years the Beljam clashfans organize busses to the riddimclash. Cause they like clash in general and riddimclash is the biggest one in Europe. The people on those busses was a mix of belgium and french clashfans (since France near to Belgium they buy tickets for it too) and civalizee fans yes. No doubt. But we have nuff fans in Germany, France etc... too. The poll on your forum is clear about that, and the massive forwards with more then 1000 people making noise and putting up there hands at given tunes were from all over Europe.

I know its easy to shoot on the winner cus we in the spotlight now. And if i cannot take no critics (right or wrong) i shouldnt be in it. So go ahead and debate about it. Cause a clash without controverse is like chicken without jerk !

Much love to my bredrin of Irie crew , Herbalize it, Trinity , Soundquake , XTAC. Everyone represented there sound well.

Hope to see you peeps ina dance soon ...

One Love
Buda & the crew.

GWAAAN BUDA!!!!LET THEM TALK,LET DEM TALKIN!!!!!!!
